Our partner atelier sits in Italy, in a region naturally associated with leather and luxury craftsmanship.
The atelier is family-run. Forty people work there, including a significant portion who belong to a single lineage — founding grandfather, fathers and uncles who took over, nephews, cousins learning the craft today.
We chose this atelier for three reasons. First, they know how to work full-grain leather and Italian suede at a level that’s becoming rare. Second, they accept small volumes — we produce a few hundred units per model. Third, working conditions match what we wanted to find: salaries above the Italian sector average, respected hours.
We visited the atelier several times before signing.
